New Thanksgiving

It's weird, but since mid-month I've been having the most awesome luck. Watch me jinx it all to hell now. Things have been going pretty well for me and I'm finally feeling like all of my hard work is starting to pay off. Normally, all of this feeling good crap would make me very paranoid. I'd constantly watch the skies, waiting for the anvil to drop. But I've decided to just enjoy it and not wait for the bad to start. That's so 2005, you know.

I've decided to, instead, celebrate this good feeling by listing all of the things that make me happy...

Only one week left until I move over into fine jewelry where I'll be able to actually sit and read because it's so dead over there. I'll never make much commission, but who cares? I can read! And not cart around heavy clothing!

My snazzy new glasses that I bought after nearly falling down the basement stairs while wearing my very old prescription..
Who's the sexy librarian now? I am! And how green do my eyes look there?
My uncle's up-coming wedding on..April Fool's Day. See? The weird sense of humor? It runs in the family.
All of the family coming around for the wedding. Family I haven't seen in over a decade and some I've never met.
I managed to do all of my errands today within an hour! Even dealing with the stupid people at my doctor's office. Thank god I have a brilliant, sweet, amazing pharmacist.

Now I just need to polish off the resolutions and I'm set.

J- He wasn't about to cry, he was giving me his deomonic glare. Be glad you can't see it full on or your face would melt off like those nazis in Raiders of the Lost Ark or some shit. And it's not like he would have any use for a girlfriend, you know. Snip snip.

I had my hair in a bun and I wore a cardigan today, so it all works!

Michelle- Boo as a martyr? Only if it gets him snacks in the end! Hehehe..

I love the glasses. But I still do wear my contacts most of the time. My eyes are so bad that I can't wear glasses most of the time. They just too heavy!
